Goals:

River Bend is looking to play regional festivals, theaters, house concerts, listening room clubs, and special events in the Midwest and throughout the US. River Bend is available to perform Thursday through Sunday and select weekdays.

Band Following and Promotion:

River Bend's general draw is between 150-200 in the Midwestern Regional area (Missouri, Illinois, Indiana). While being a newer band on the scene, we have drawn immediate attention by sharing the stage with members of the Del McCoury Band, Cody Kilby, Bobby Hicks and others. Three members (Dustin Greer, Andy Novara, and program coordinator Matt McGibany),  also promote bluegrass in the St. Louis region through teaching at the St. Louis Folk School, which is a KDHX affiliated organization. KDHX is a listener supported radio that features many bluegrass and country radio programs, which offers many opportunities for on air promotion of our upcoming events.

Equipment Needs:

River Bend is a traditional 5 piece bluegrass band that can provide their own sound as needed, but please note: we always provide our own microphones (and often a sound engineer) which includes:

Ear Trumpet Louise-- 1-2 center stage, main vocals

Ear Trumpet Edwina-- 2 left and right wings, fiddle and banjo

Sure PG 81-- center guitar mic

Sure SM 81-- center left mandolin mic
